Half-Day Ölüdeniz Scuba Diving Tour

The difference between our Ölüdeniz scuba diving program and the Fethiye scuba diving program is that the Ölüdeniz program is a shorter, half-day program. The purpose of the Ölüdeniz diving tour is solely to engage in scuba diving.

The first diving tour begins at 10:00 a.m. when our boat departs from the Ölüdeniz shore. Our dive boat will anchor at Blue Cave Bay. During the trip, you’ll receive a brief training session on how to communicate underwater, safety precautions, diving techniques, breathing exercises, and psychological aspects of diving.

Once we’ve anchored at the Blue Cave aboard our scuba diving boat, our captain will divide you into groups, and you’ll go on a one-on-one scuba dive accompanied by an instructor. The time spent underwater is 30 minutes. The entire tour program takes 3 hours. You can spend the rest of the day enjoying other activities.

Another scuba diving program after 10:00 a.m. begins at 1:00 p.m., and starting at that time, a speedboat departs every hour to take you back to our main boat. If you were unable to join the first program, you can join the next one more quickly. There is no additional charge for the transfer to our main boat via the speedboat. The afternoon scuba diving program takes a total of 2 hours.

Even if you don’t know how to swim, you can still join our diving program. Our guests who don’t know how to swim can either wear the diving suits available on the boat or go diving using snorkels if they prefer.

Ölüdeniz Scuba Diving Spot: Blue Cave

Our dive site, located in the direction of Butterfly Valley, is the best diving area in Ölüdeniz. The underwater visibility is excellent, and it is home to many different species of fish.

Our boat, which departs from the Ölüdeniz beach, arrives here in about 20 minutes, drops anchor, and gets ready for diving. The speedboat, on the other hand, arrives here much sooner, docks alongside our boat, picks up guests who have finished diving, and returns to the Ölüdeniz beach.

The depth of the scuba diving area ranges from 5 to 8 meters. This is the recommended range for recreational diving.

The lack of land access to the cove helps protect the area and its fish diversity. Its hollow structure ensures that there is less rocking even when the sea is rough.

If the sea is extremely rough, the dive site may be changed, but this rarely happens.

How It Differs from the Fethiye Scuba Diving Program

The Fethiye scuba diving program is a full-day tour; on our Fethiye tour, you’ll have two 20-minute dives. Our Ölüdeniz diving program, on the other hand, is a 3-hour program. You’ll have one 30-minute dive.

The Fethiye diving tour starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. Lunch is included.
The Ölüdeniz diving tour starts at 10:00 a.m. and lasts 3 hours. In the afternoon, you can join a tour every hour on the hour.

Ölüdeniz scuba diving program: This program is advantageous because it leaves you time to participate in other activities on the same day. It’s also a short program that’s free of unnecessary details and focused solely on diving.
